About me

Jeanne-Marie studied printmaking at the University of South Carolina where she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1994. After living in the UK for several years, she returned to the US to study painting at the University of Memphis where she completed her Master of Fine Arts degree in 2004. She is now based at the Bluecoat in Liverpool.

'Through my oil paintings and graphite drawings of unlikely creatures in everyday circumstances, I am interested in exploring memory, dreams, time and place.'
